Here is our first podcast, a companion for the reading from Lesson 3, pages 30-36. It covers weather versus climate, the source of the earth's heat, and atmosphere. There is also a study guide (I'll post it tonight), which some students may find very useful. I refer to it often early in the podcast to help students use it. We want this to be an interactive experience, so it is designed to be used in conjunction with the reading. For best results, open the PDF for the reading and read along, have the study guide printed out so that you can take notes, and pause the podcast often so that you can take notes!
We will have a podcast for all our readings in this unit. Please let us know what works for you and what you would like to see changed - we want it to be as helpful as possible!
I also hope to have a "permalink" section on the blog so that these files are easy to access, as soon as I can figure out the interface.
